AHRC Suffolk
Petrina Chiarelli has over three decades of experience in education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at AHRC Suffolk since September 1987. Prior to this role, Petrina worked as a permanent substitute teacher for grades K-8, specializing in music, art, and gym at St. Joseph's Elementary School from June 1982 to June 1987. Petrina holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Stony Brook University, a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, and an Associate of Applied Science from Suffolk County Community College.

AHRC Suffolk is a not-for-profit organization which provides programs and services to children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities on Long Island. Currently more than 2,500 people receive educational, vocational, residential, employment, and respite services through AHRC’s forty-two facilities.
