Achintya Prasad is a Certification Program Engineer at The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) since November 2022, leading certification and standards programs for Geothermal and Water Source Heat Pumps. Achintya coordinated over 200 federally regulated energy efficiency tests and contributed to the development of significant industry standards. Previously, as a Business Process Solutions Engineer at HORNE LLP, Achintya implemented LEAN-Six Sigma strategies on multimillion-dollar projects and advised on federal legislation impacting investment strategies. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi, where Achintya also held various ambassadorial and intern roles.
