Bryan McCarthy

Bryan McCarthy is an accomplished Environmental Scientist and Cartographer currently working at Ahtna Group of Companies since July 2022. With a diverse background in geology and environmental management, Bryan has held various positions including Staff Geologist at Apex Envirotech, Inc. and Soil Specialist-Inspector at RMA Companies, where responsibilities included soil sampling, testing, and managing communication among project stakeholders. Additionally, Bryan provided litigation support in forensic soil investigations at SumnerLaw and served as Environmental Crew Leader with WSP, conducting stormwater surveys and supporting environmental compliance. Previous experience at Formation Environmental, LLC involved leading large-scale geological surveys, developing standard operating procedures for soil sampling, and coordinating aerial survey fieldwork as a FAA Certified UAS Pilot. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of California, Davis.
