Ron O'Rourke

Ron O'Rourke is a Senior Technologist at Ahtna, Inc. since October 2023, specializing in undersea warfare, information technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence leadership, along with program management and systems engineering. O'Rourke has extensive experience in various roles including Director of Operations and Acquisition Manager at NAVWAR for nearly three decades, and held positions in the US Navy Reserve, achieving the rank of Captain. O'Rourke has also served as Program Manager at General Atomics and held multiple roles in the United States Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer. Additionally, O'Rourke has a long history as an avocational skipper with The Moorings Yacht Charters since 1981, having captained numerous charters throughout the West Indies. Educational achievements include a BS in Engineering from Stanford University and an MS in Computer Science from San Diego State University, alongside certifications in advanced program management and systems engineering from the Defense Acquisition University.
