In 2008, they started their career as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Biomet, where they stayed until 2015. Mona then joined Zimmer Biomet as a Senior Product Development Engineer from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Mona transitioned to Imperial Innovations, where they served as a Senior Healthcare IP & Licensing Associate until 2019. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of AI for Global Goals, a company dedicated to connecting AI talents to industries and causes aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
