Gene Wade

Gene Wade is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the education technology sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of NewUni, Inc., which aims to reinvent higher education amidst rising global demand. In addition to this role, Gene operates as a Venture Advisor at AI Fund, advising founders on leveraging AI for educational transformation, and holds a board member position at esteam.ai, a startup focused on innovating reading instruction through AI. Previous experience includes serving as an advisor and investor in Ed Tech, consulting and leading Propel Center to enhance America's talent pipeline, and co-founding multiple organizations like Honors Pathway, UniversityNow, and Platform Learning, all dedicated to improving access and affordability in education. Gene holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, a JD from Harvard Law School, and a BA in Political Science from Morehouse College.
