Michael Beck

Michael Beck has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael currently works as a Software Engineer at A.I. Insurance Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to this, Michael held roles at Sandbox Banking, where they worked as a Senior Platform Engineer from March 2021 to June 2021 and as a Software Developer from January 2020 to March 2021. At Sandbox Banking, they gained experience working on a fintech product, focusing on retrieving, transforming, and delivering data between different banking and financial systems. Michael also played a key role in improving the security and stability of the platform and worked closely with multiple bank and credit union clients.

Before joining Sandbox Banking, Michael worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire from May 2015 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained tutoring experience at Tutor.com, where they served as a Peer Tutor in 2016, tutoring math and science courses in a one-on-one online learning environment. Michael Beck began their education in 2012 at the University of New Hampshire, where they studied Chemical Engineering. Michael then transferred to Great Bay Community College in 2012, before returning to the University of New Hampshire in 2013 to continue their studies in Chemical Engineering. In 2015, they briefly attended both Udacity and The University of Toledo, but no degree or field of study is specified for these institutions. In 2018, Michael attended a Data Science Bootcamp at BloomTech. From 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.

In addition to their education, Michael Beck has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning with a Data Science Emphasis from Lambda School. Michael also received certifications as a Triplebyte certified Machine Learning Engineer and a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer, both in June 2019. Most recently, in January 2022, they obtained the Triplebyte Certified credential from Triplebyte.
