Rita Sargsyan

Rita Sargsyan currently serves as the IDEAS Program Director and VC/Startups Ambassador at AI LA, following progressive roles within the organization. Sargsyan was selected as one of 250 fellows for the prestigious Break Through Tech AI Program at Cornell Tech. Various leadership positions have included directing the Technology Committee at UCLA Undergraduate Business Society and acting as a product lead for the Goldhirsh Foundation, where Sargsyan developed an AI-powered chatbot for LA2050. Additional experiences encompass roles at Waymo, Google for Startups, and Fika Ventures, focusing on mentorship, strategic evaluation of startups, and project leadership. Sargsyan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from UCLA and pursued further education in machine learning at Cornell University.
