Faramarz Farhoodi

Faramarz Farhoodi has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Faramarz currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at AI Nexus Healthcare, where they lead the development of smart health and wellness applications powered by Cognitive Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Sapient Shopping (formerly AquaThings), where they focused on creating an omnichannel shopping experience using AI technology.

From 2013 to 2014, Farhoodi worked at Nationstar Mortgage as the Executive Vice President, CMO (Solutionstar) and General Manager (HomeSearch.com), responsible for digital and direct response marketing. Before that, they co-founded Charity Dreams, an online marketplace that offers unique experiences and donates to chosen charities.

Farhoodi also has experience in the real estate industry. Faramarz served as the COO and CTO of Auction.com, the global leader in real estate auctions. Additionally, they held the role of CIO and EVP of Ecommerce at MotoSport, Inc, where they transformed the company's IT and Ecommerce infrastructure and implemented a successful Ecommerce marketing and technology strategy.

Earlier in their career, Farhoodi worked at Amazon.com as the Manager for Target.com, where they focused on increasing conversion rates and gross merchandise sales. Faramarz was also the Managing Director of Professional Services at Haley Systems and Head of Software Product Management at FreeMarkets, where they played key roles in the growth and development of these companies.

Before their career in technology and business, Farhoodi embarked on a world tour during 2002-2003.

Faramarz Farhoodi pursued their higher education at various institutions. From 1978 to 1981, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and earned a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Economics. Following this, in 1983-1984, they enrolled at the University of Essex, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science/AI.
