Wayne Chen Weiqiang

Wayne Chen Weiqiang, Ph.D., is an accomplished AI Engineer currently at AI Singapore since May 2023, where Wayne Chen led a Generative AI Malay Text to Speech project. Previously, Wayne founded BC Digital Technologies Pte Ltd, providing consultancy and training in data science and digital technologies, and served as an Education Technology Officer at the Ministry of Education, Singapore, focusing on adaptive learning systems. As a lecturer at Eunoia Junior College, Wayne developed specialized tracks in robotics and computing while leading the AI/Machine Learning Track. Wayne also contributed to the Singapore University of Social Sciences as both an Associate Faculty member and Course Developer, reimagining coding components in mathematics courses. With experience at Nurture.AI, DSO National Laboratories, and a strong academic background including a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the National University of Singapore, Wayne's expertise spans education, AI, and machine learning.
