Virkam Khanna

Vikram Khanna co-founded Ikarian Capital, LLC, a registered investment adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission that provides investment advisory services to private investment funds and separately managed accounts. In his role, Mr. Khanna is responsible for stock and company related analyses, portfolio management and investments. Mr. Khanna graduated from Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont, California with a Master of Business and Science. Mr. Khanna was then recruited to join Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), where he worked with private biotech companies guiding several of them through liquidity events, certain of which became publicly traded entities. In his role as Senior Manager, Mr. Khanna was instrumental in helping to lead the life science strategic advisory services arm at SVB, where he leveraged SVB's footprint among the private biotech sector to serve as an extended corporate development arm for corporate venture and business development groups at pharmaceutical companies. With his unique background combining science with biotech-specific business expertise, Mr. Khanna was able to recognize synergistic fits for large pharma and biotech companies.
