Aljoscha Burchardt is an expert in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as a member of the Fachausschuss Kommunikation und Information at UNESCO and as a Principal Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since April 2010, Burchardt has held various roles including Deputy Site Director Berlin and Lab Manager of the Language Technology Lab. Additionally, Burchardt hosts the podcast "KI – und jetzt?", providing accessible and insightful discussions on the impacts of AI. Burchardt has also lectured at the AI Transformation Institute and served as a member of the Enquete Commission on Artificial Intelligence for the Deutscher Bundestag. Holding a Dr. Phil. in Computer Linguistics and a Diplomlinguist from Universität des Saarlandes, Burchardt has a strong educational background that complements significant research experience.
