Azar Azad

Azar Azad has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career in 2000 as Co-Director at the Banting and Best Diabetes Centre Core Laboratory, where they were responsible for specialized tests related to diabetes. In 2002, they worked at Mount Sinai Hospital as a Business Development Officer. They then joined Mount Sinai Services as the Scientific Director of Research and Personalized Medicine in 2008, and later became the Managing Director at Mount Sinai Services Inc. in 2014.

In 2015, Azar Azad co-founded iTP Biomedica, a company focused on developing diagnostic tools for cancers and complex diseases, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer.
