Peyman Gifani

Peyman Gifani is the Founder and CEO of AI VIVO since September 2019. Previously, Peyman held the position of Senior Research Associate and Wellcome Trust-Cambridge University Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge from November 2015 to October 2018, leading an award-winning interdisciplinary project in collaboration between the Genetics and Engineering departments. From September 2014 to September 2015, Peyman served as the Director of Science and Technology at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs, an organization known for its successful student-run business creation competitions. Peyman co-founded and was the CEO of KiaTech Bonyan Co. from October 2007 to September 2011, focusing on embedded software design and medical device development. Earlier, a role as Technical Director and Project Leader at Sharif University of Technology involved developing a novel algorithm for EEG-based depth of anesthesia monitoring. Peyman's academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
