Shaked Meirom

Shaked Meirom is an experienced professional in natural language processing and machine learning, currently serving as the LLM Algorithm Tech Lead at AI21 Labs since July 2023, guiding algorithm developers and leading key algorithmic projects. Previously, Shaked held roles at AI21 Labs as LLM Program Manager, overseeing the Jamba models series, and as an NLP Algorithm Developer in the Algorithm Director's innovation team. From August 2018 to July 2023, Shaked led the NLP Group at Israeli Military Intelligence, managing a team of 30 researchers and engineers. Additional experience includes serving as Cyber Group Lead at Israeli Military Intelligence and roles at Intel Corporation and Israeli Military Intelligence as a Software Engineer, Deputy Head of Section, Team Lead, and Technical Intelligence Analyst. Shaked holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
