James Motes

James Motes Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. James is currently the Founder of QuickReports, a company established in 2022. Additionally, they are a Lead Instructor at AI4ALL since 2022, where they teach the Discover AI course to undergraduate students, with a focus on technical artificial intelligence and the related ethical issues. James has also worked as a PHD Candidate and PHD Student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they were a Masters Student at Texas A&M University from 2018 to 2019. James gained industry experience as a VLSI Design Verification Engineer Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2017 and worked as a Sales Associate at Academy Sports and Outdoors in 2015.

James earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science - MS in Computer Science at Texas A&M University from 2018 to 2019. James pursued their undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where they obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering from 2014 to 2018. James Motes completed their high school education at Rowlett High School from 2010 to 2014.
