Neha Jagadeesha

Neha Jagadeesha is currently a Diversity Get Educated Chair at the Society of Women Engineers since September 2024 and a Women in Engineering Mentor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this mentoring role, Neha organizes events to support freshman girls in engineering and addresses student inquiries. Neha has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at ScribeAR, focusing on live transcription technology for augmented reality glasses, and completed an SWE Internship at Navistar Inc. where the work involved developing validation tools for vehicle systems. Involvement with AI4ALL has led to a deep understanding of AI applications and ethics. Neha's early experiences include leadership roles at Metea Valley, service as a Student Athlete, and participation in DECA. Neha is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in December 2025.
