Marc Val has over 20 years of experience in software development and technical analysis. Marc began their career at Altran, where they worked as a Software Developer for the Generalitat de Catalunya. During this time, they were responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of new functionalities for the SCC Information System.
In 2002, Marc joined Libertas Consultores, where they continued their work in software development for various public administration projects. Marc utilized technologies such as SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, Java, and J2EE.
Afterward, Marc worked at Thales Information Systems as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to troubleshooting, technical design, and new functionality development for the TYGRE Banking Information System at GE Money Bank.
In 2009, Marc joined Atmira Espacio de Consultoria as a Senior Software Developer, where they focused on technical design, development, data loading, and migration for the SIREC system at Banco Pastor.
In 2010, Marc worked at Inxtenso as a Software Development Analyst, collaborating on database design and development for the IDALU and PLD applications for the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Marc then joined Grupo Choice in 2011 as a Senior Software Programmer, specializing in software programming for Cartonajes M. Petit S.A.
Finally, Marc moved on to their current position at Aplicaciones en Informática Avanzada in 2012, where they serve as a Technical Analyst. Their responsibilities involve project management, team management, economic proposals, functional and technical designs, and project development and maintenance. Marc has expertise in technologies such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, J2EE, XML, HTML, and Javascript.
Marc Val completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Universitat de Barcelona from 1993 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Oracle Developer from Oracle University between 1998 and 1999. Lastly, from 2001 to 2002, Marc attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they completed a post-graduate degree in Engineering Information Systems.
