Derek HY Liu has extensive experience in financial management and regulatory reporting within the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Reporting at AIA since October 2018, Derek previously held the position of AVP, Head of Management Reporting & Financial Analysis at Manulife from February 2007 to October 2018, and earlier served as Director in the same field. Derek's career began at ING Life Insurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd, where the role of Senior Finance Manager was held from September 2000 to February 2007. Educationally, Derek holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance from The University of Hong Kong.
