Stuart Valentine

Stuart Valentine is an Independent Non-Executive Director at AIA Company Limited, with around 30 years of experience advising senior management and boards of international companies in Asia. After retiring from full-time legal practice in 2016, Stuart has transitioned into consulting and directorship roles. Previously, as a partner at leading law firms, they developed prominent M&A and insurance practices, managing teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. Stuart has received recognition as a leading lawyer in various legal directories and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. They hold a B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Tasmania and a PCLL from The University of Hong Kong.
