Choon Hai Tan

Choon Hai Tan, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced professional with over 15 years in training, performance management, and talent management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Learning & Organisational Development at AIA Malaysia since July 2016, Choon Hai Tan leverages a robust background to assess workforce capability needs and ensure leadership continuity. Prior to this role, Choon Hai Tan held the position of Vice President of Learning & Development at CIMB from April 2010 to June 2016, where key competencies included project management and training delivery. Notably, Choon Hai Tan led a significant training initiative for the CIMB Core Banking System rollout, successfully training approximately 12,000 users. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
