Matthew Khoo

Matthew Khoo is a seasoned professional in risk management and information security, currently serving as a Senior Manager at AIA Malaysia since June 2021. With extensive experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence roles at FWD Insurance and AIA from 2018 to 2021, Matthew has developed strong capabilities in risk and control as well as incident response. Prior roles include Operational Risk Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, Manager at KPMG focusing on information security incident management, and an InfoSec Senior Analyst at Hewlett-Packard, where Matthew specialized in risk analysis and control development. Matthew’s career began as an IT Security Manager at DELL Global Business Center, where responsibilities included managing responses to security incidents and coordinating multiple support teams. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Electronic & Computing Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
