Audrey Ferguson

Audrey Ferguson is an experienced legal professional with a strong track record in corporate governance and legal counsel. Currently serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at AIC Mines Limited since October 2022, Ferguson previously held similar positions at Bindaree Food Group and acted as General Counsel at Patrick. A significant portion of Ferguson's career was spent at Rio Tinto from 2001 to 2015, where a solid progression of roles included General Counsel for multiple product groups and key responsibilities in mergers and acquisitions. Notable achievements include overseeing legal issues for the uranium portfolio and managing a global legal team. Ferguson also gained experience in corporate law as an Associate Solicitor at Allen & Overy and a trainee at Chapman Tripp. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Arts from the University of Otago and a GAICD designation from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
