AICHI STEEL CORPORATION is a Japan-based company engaged in the production and sale of steels, forged products and electronic and magnetic parts. Through its subsidiaries and associates, the Company operates in four business segments. The Steel segment is engaged in the production and distribution of hot-rolled steel and mold products. The Forged Products segment manufactures and sells forged products. The Electronic and Magnetic Parts segment is engaged in the production and marketing of electronic functional materials and parts, as well as magnetic applied parts. The Others segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of stainless steel structure parts and plant growth activators. This segment is also engaged in the development of computer software, as well as the goods sales, afforestation and nursing care business. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 20 subsidiaries and three associated companies.
