Prerana Somani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Prerana began their career as a Management Trainee at Centrum Capital Ltd in 2006. Prerana then worked at Netscribes as a Senior Research Associate, where they focused on writing case studies and research reports on various sectors, as well as creating corporate and investor presentations.
In 2008, Prerana joined Riteverses, which later became Knowledge Studio, as a Principal Associate. Here, they drafted business articles, annual reports, and market commentaries for clients such as mutual funds and global investment banks. Prerana also managed overall project operations, ensuring timely execution within cost parameters.
Moving on, Prerana worked at Knowledge Studio, Ketchum Sampark as a Project Manager in the Content Services team. In this role, they drafted point of view articles, research reports, and market commentaries for clients in sectors like mutual funds, NBFCs, and global investment banks.
In 2015, Prerana joined AICL Communications Ltd. as a Senior Manager in Content Services. Later, they took on the role of Lead in Content and Client Relations, where they helped leading Indian companies effectively communicate their stakeholder messages. Their responsibilities included handling multiple projects, direct communication with clients in various sectors, project management, and client relationship management.
Throughout their career, Prerana has consistently showcased their expertise in content creation, project management, and client relations across sectors such as finance, insurance, real estate, and pharmaceuticals.
Prerana Somani began their education at St Xaviers High School. Prerana then attended P.D Lions College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at NIILM School of Business in Delhi. There, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Finance) between 2004 and 2006. Later, in 2010, Prerana attended the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education in Hyderabad and obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
