Yaovi Akakpo has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Yaovi began their career as the National Talent Management Director at AIESEC in Liberia from August 2017 to August 2019. Following that, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services, first as the ACE Program Local Coordinator from August 2018 to July 2019, and later as the ACE Program Global HR Coordinator & Expansions Manager from August 2019 to April 2022. In these roles, they were responsible for HR process creation and implementation, survey running, guidelines creation, coaching, new branches creation and monitoring, recruitment, interns experience management, stakeholders management, and reporting. Yaovi also worked as a Recruiter at Akorbi from August 2021 to November 2021. Currently, they are a Project Management Trainee at AICL Communications, starting from August 2022. Prior to their current role, they also worked as a TA Consultant as a freelancer from May 2022.

Yaovi Akakpo attended Université de Lomé from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued an undergraduate degree in International Economics. Yaovi later enrolled in ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona in 2021 and is expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2023, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their academic qualifications, Yaovi has obtained certifications in Performance-Based Hiring, Talent Sourcing, and Technical Recruiting from LinkedIn in April 2021.
