Kim Nilsen

Kim Nilsen currently serves as Senior Director of Reputation and External Affairs at AICPA since April 2022 and has held the role of Publisher and Senior Director at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants since April 2014. Previous experience includes serving as Editorial Director and Senior Editor for the Journal of Accountancy at AICPA from April 2007 to March 2014, and Special Reports Editor at Triangle Business Journal from May 2000 to April 2007. Early in the career, Kim Nilsen worked as a Reporter at The Fayetteville Observer from 1996 to 2000. Kim Nilsen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1990 and 1992.
