Melanie Lauridsen

Melanie Lauridsen is an accomplished tax policy and advocacy professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Vice President for Tax Policy & Advocacy at AICPA since December 2011, Melanie has also held the roles of Director of Tax Practice & Ethics and Senior Manager of Tax Policy & Advocacy at the same organization. Prior to AICPA, Melanie worked as a Senior Associate III at Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, P.C., and gained foundational experience at PwC, where career progression led from Associate to Senior Associate. Earlier in Melanie's career, experience as Site Director at the Fairfax County Office of Partnerships - CLCP contributed to a diverse skill set. Melanie holds a Master of Accountancy from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor of Economics from Brigham Young University.
