Stephanie Otero

Stephanie Otero, CPA, currently serves as a Board Member for Project Sanctuary since June 2024 and as the Associate Director for Not-For-Profit at AICPA since March 2023, where Stephanie provides expertise to not-for-profit professionals. Previously, Stephanie held the positions of CEO and CFO at Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino from January 2016 to July 2022, emphasizing the mission to eliminate hunger. From January 2013 to January 2016, Stephanie founded and presided over Above Par Accounting, a distinguished accounting firm. Early professional experience includes ownership of a full-service accounting firm in Palm Desert from October 2003 to December 2013 and work as a Senior Accountant at Maryanov Madsen Gordon & Campbell from August 1999 to October 2003, specializing in nonprofit and small business accounting. Stephanie Otero earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University between 1994 and 1998.
