Parham Aghdasi

Founder and CEO at AICrete Corp. at AICRETE

Parham Aghdasi is the founder and CEO of AICrete Corp. since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2014 to October 2020. At Berkeley, they held various roles, including Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Student Researcher. Their research focused on heat transfer analysis and optimization of facade systems made of concrete, as well as the development of 3D-printed polymer lattices and plate-reinforced concrete for deep tunnel supports. Parham also investigated the tension-stiffening behavior of Green Ultra-High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (G-UHP-FRC) composites and developed lightweight concrete structures through 3D printing. Additionally, Parham served as a Graduate Student Instructor for various courses at Berkeley. Prior to their time at Berkeley, they worked as a Research Scientist Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington, where they conducted research on reinforced ultra-high performance concrete and cost-efficient methods for cast-in-place concrete.

Parham Aghdasi has an extensive education history. Parham earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from The Baha'i Institute for Higher Education between 2007 and 2011. Moving forward, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Structures and Applied Mechanics from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2012 to 2013. Parham Aghdasi then continued their academic journey and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to their formal degrees, Parham Aghdasi has also obtained several certifications. These include completing the courses "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in July, August, and September 2020 respectively.
