Andreas Etzien

Andreas Etzien has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Captain at AIDA Cruises since October 2016, where roles have also included Staff Captain and Safety Officer. Prior experience includes positions at Hapag-Lloyd AG from July 2004 to October 2016, where Andreas held titles such as Chief Officer and Ship Operations Officer. A brief tenure as Staff Captain at Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten GmbH occurred in 2013, along with a role as Superintendent at Hamburg Sud from June 2008 to June 2009, responsible for new building specifications and communication with shipyards.
