Miguel Tamayo

Miguel Tamayo is an experienced hospitality professional with a diverse background in food and beverage management, currently serving as Head Sommelier at El Fuerte Marbella 5* since July 2023 and as an Asesor Gastronómico for Willaerts GROUP. Since October 2020, Miguel has been affiliated with the AIDABE - Asociación Iberoamericana de Directores y Directoras de Alimentos y Bebidas as an Asociado. Previous roles include Sommelier at Takumi Japanese Restaurant and Restaurant Manager at Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts. With early experiences ranging from Chef de Rang at The K Club to Guest Experience roles at Gran Meliá Don Pepe 5*, Miguel has built a strong foundation in guest service and management. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Hotel Management and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidad de Málaga.
