Brooke Escobar

Brooke Russell is the Associate Director of the Chinese Development Finance Program at AidData. Brooke has previously worked as a Project Manager, Data Curator, and Research Consultant for AidData, Financial Tracking Service Intern for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and Graduate Research Assistant for Climate Change and African Political Stability. Brooke has a wealth of experience in producing and updating policy analysis profiles, providing strategic guidance on research and data methodology, overseeing data collection processes, and executing quality assurance processes.

After completing their undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, Brooke Russell pursued a Master's degree in Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.

Brooke Russell reports to Bradley C. Parks, Executive Director. They are on a team with Brook Lautenslager - Software Lead, Ariel Benyishay - Chief Economist, Director of Research & Evaluation, and Alex Wooley - Director of Partnerships & Communications.
