Rodney Knight

Deputy Director of Research

Rodney Knight is the Deputy Director of Research at AidData. Rodney has over 18 years of experience in the international development field, conducting research and evaluations for health, food security, and child protection programs. Rodney has managed large teams of researchers and evaluators on multi-country projects, providing technical leadership and oversight. Rodney has also participated in business development activities including meeting with prospective clients, the capture process for large projects, and proposal development. In their most recent position, they served as the International Research Specialist for International Research and Evaluation, where they conducted research on global health programs.

Rodney Knight has a PhD in Sociology/Demography from Brown University. Rodney also has a MA in Sociology/Demography from Brown University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University.

Rodney Knight works with Ana Horigoshi - Senior Research Analyst, Rachel Sayers - Senior Research Analyst, and Katherine Nolan - Research Scientist. Rodney Knight reports to Ariel Benyishay, Chief Economist, Director of Research & Evaluation.
