Maurits Engbersen

Maurits Engbersen has a diverse work experience in the field of medical research and clinical study management. Maurits is currently working as a Clinical Study Manager at Aidence since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Consultant at Quin from May 2021 to September 2021.

Maurits then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science at Leiden University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Maurits obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Science, also from Leiden University, completing it from 2014 to 2017.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Maurits embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Medicine at Maastricht University, commencing in 2017, with an expected completion date in 2022.

In 2010, they received the IB diploma programme certificate for English level A2 from The International Baccalaureate. Subsequently, in 2019, Maurits completed a course on the Medical research involving Human Subjects Act (WMO) & Good Clinical Practice (GCP) at Tapas Group. Recently, in 2023, they completed two certifications, namely the GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus) Course and the Human Subjects Research – Biomedical (Biomed) Comprehensive course, both obtained from the CITI Program.
