Itay Katzir

Itay Katzir's work experience starts with their current role as a Principal A.I. Algorithm Engineer (Computer Vision and NLP) at Aidoc since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior A.I. and Natural Language Processing Algorithm Engineer at Aidoc from January 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Aidoc, Itay worked in a large R&D organization, starting as a Physics Researcher from March 2008 to March 2011. Itay then became a Senior Physicist and R&D Team Leader from March 2011 to August 2014, and later held the position of Senior Physicist and R&D Manager from March 2014 to January 2021.

Itay Katzir earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2007. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2016, Itay Katzir enrolled at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Biology in 2020.
