Leanne Portera-Neill has a diverse work experience background. In 2021, they served as the Director of Homelessness Prevention at AIDS Alabama Inc, where they oversaw various housing case management programs and provided supervision to coordinators. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, Leanne worked at Aletheia House Inc, initially as a Prevention Specialist, then as a Program Manager, and later as a Housing Coordinator. Leanne also served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina's Center for Child and Family Studies in 2015. Additionally, Leanne gained experience as a Master of Social Work Intern at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute and as a Bachelor of Social Work Intern at East Alabama Medical Center in the same year.
