AIDS Concern
Jerome Yau has extensive work experience in various communication and advocacy roles. Jerome is currently the Chief Executive at AIDS Concern, where they lead efforts to improve the lives of people living with HIV and stop the spread of the disease. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder of Hong Kong Marriage Equality, focusing on advancing equal marriage in Hong Kong. Jerome has also served as an Assistant Manager of Corporate Communications at The Community Chest of Hong Kong and worked as a self-employed Communications Consultant, providing translation, copywriting, and editing services. Jerome has held positions such as External Affairs Manager at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center and Public Affairs Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong & Macao. Jerome has previously worked as a Communications Manager at Renaissance College Hong Kong, Managing Editor at Fairchild Television, Managing Partner at SkyBleu Communications, and Reporter at Channel M. Overall, Jerome has a strong background in communication strategy, media relations, and community engagement.
Jerome Yau received their BA degree in History and Political Science from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Jerome also obtained a certification in The Dale Carnegie Course (Lab Course) from Dale Carnegie.

AIDS Concern
「關懷愛滋」成立於1990年,是本港首個關注愛滋病及提供有關服務的非政府慈善組織。我們的願景是在香港建設「三零」社會:零新感染、零標籤及零愛滋病相關死亡。我們將從個人、機構、社會層面出發,帶動全面的社會改變,達致「三零目標」,阻遏愛滋病病毒傳播,消除社會對感染者的負面標籤。 AIDS CONCERN was established in 1990 as the first non-government charity ogranisation committed to the service of AIDS care in Hong Kong. Our vision is to create ‘TRIPLE ZERO’ Hong Kong. This means ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO stigma for people living with HIV and ZERO AIDS deaths. AIDS Concern will lead social change by individuals, organisations and society to achieve TRIPLE ZERO, to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and eliminate stigma for people living with HIV.
