Dominique Chew, MPP, has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2015, Chew worked as a Writing Intern for the Communications and Marketing Department at Goshen College. In 2015, Chew also became a Contributing Writer for The Mennonite, Inc., a position held until 2017. Moving forward, Chew took on the role of an English as a New Language Instructor at Goshen College, teaching reading, writing, and speaking skills to Spanish-speaking adults from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, Chew joined the Center for Healing & Hope as the Immigrant Resource Coordinator, where they played a crucial role in developing the Goshen Resident Identification card and incorporating immigration advocacy into the organization's mission until 2018. In 2018, Chew worked as the Palestine Justice Organizer for On Earth Peace, followed by a position as a Graduate Student Assistant at DePaul University's Center for Students with Disabilities from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Chew is employed at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, where they started in 2020 as a Ryan White Training Associate, and later transitioned to the role of Manager, Community Mobilization in June 2022.
Dominique Chew, MPP, completed a Master's degree in Public Policy from DePaul University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor's degree in English, Women's & Gender Studies, and Bible & Religion from Goshen College.
In addition to their formal education, Dominique Chew has also obtained certifications in various areas. In May 2019, they received the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Certification from CITI Program, a Division of BRANY. In June 2018, they completed Basic Immigration Law Training from World Relief.
