Peyton Mcfarlain

Patient Navigator at AIDS OUTREACH CENTER

Peyton McFarlain is an experienced professional currently serving as a Patient Navigator at AIDS Outreach Center since June 2023. Previously, Peyton worked as a Student Assistant Special Projects at UNT Dean of Students from August 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities included digitizing and organizing documents containing FERPA-protected information. Peyton also contributed as an Instructor at The Guitar Center Company from April 2021 to April 2022, focusing on teaching instrument fundamentals and collaborating with colleagues. An early role as an HR and Accounting Intern at ConeCraft LLC from March 2021 to July 2021 involved supporting Human Resources and translating benefits materials for Spanish-speaking employees. Peyton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, Spanish, and French from the University of North Texas, completed in May 2023.

AIDS OUTREACH CENTER

AIDS Outreach Center is the only 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Fort Worth serving Tarrant and seven surrounding rural counties with essential HIV prevention, education and outreach programs, as well as comprehensive and vital HIV/AIDS care and support services to men, women and children and their families while advocating for a strong HIV public policy. The mission of AOC is to serve people living with or at risk for HIV with dignity and respect. AOC's vision is that in our community, people living with HIV receive quality care, and new infections are rare.
