Athena Cross, DrPH, serves as Vice President and Chief Program Officer at AIDS United, leading national programs to enhance healthcare access for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS while securing multimillion-dollar funding and shaping health policy. Concurrently, Athena holds the position of Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University and has been President of Cross Health Care Solutions since 2016, a consulting firm focused on reproductive health and Medicaid reform. Previous roles include Senior Advisor for the Coalition to Expand Contraceptive Access, Open Innovation Advisor at Rymedi, Head of U.S. Access at Medicines360, Medicaid Director for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Director of Provider Networks and Pharmacy Benefits at DC Chartered Health Plan, and Specialty Sales Representative at Endo Pharmaceuticals.
