Francisco Javier Ordóñez

Francisco Javier Ordóñez has held various roles throughout their work experience.

Francisco Javier is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at AiFi Inc. since June 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at StyleSage from February 2017 to June 2021 as a Lead Data Scientist, where they managed the development, deployment, and scaling of machine learning systems for retail analytics.

Before joining StyleSage, they were a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex from June 2015 to February 2017.

From September 2013 to May 2015, they worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they were involved in mobile and ubiquitous computing research and held teaching and supervisory responsibilities.

Francisco also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher at the same institution from January 2009 to August 2013, conducting research in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Francisco Javier interned as a Research Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm Research from June 2013 to September 2013.

Additionally, they served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Amsterdam for a brief period in 2010.

Earlier in their career, from May 2007 to January 2009, they worked as a Development and Consulting Engineer at Telefonica R&D, where they specialized in front-end development for an Oracle database.

Francisco Javier'sfirst professional experience was as a Project Engineer Trainee at Deimos Space from September 2006 to January 2007, where they were involved in analysis and design tasks for a Java/XML project related to the ESA Ground Segment.

Francisco Javier Ordóñez's education history is as follows:

From 1999 to 2003, they attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science.

Francisco Javier then pursued further education at the same university, completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science from 2004 to 2006.

Continuing their studies, Francisco obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science and Technology from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2008 and 2009.

Finally, they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they received their doctoral education from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, they also earned certifications such as "Profesor Contratado Doctor" and "Profesor Universidad Privada" from ANECA in June 2015, as well as "Profesor Ayudante Doctor" from ANECA in June 2014.
