Marco Zaccaria Di Fraia has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marco Zaccaria is currently working at AiFi Inc. as a Data Operations (DataOps) Engineer, where they utilize their communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex data issues. Prior to this, Marco worked as a Data Engineer at AiFi, specializing in Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Quality, Reliability, and Business Intelligence. Before joining AiFi, Marco was the Co-Founder & Director of Technology at Amel Italia, a non-profit organization focused on promoting social and climate justice through innovative and inclusive approaches to development and cooperation. Marco Zaccaria also served as the first full-time hire at Oxford Dynamics, a DeepTech startup, where they worked as an Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer. Marco's responsibilities included technically leading and maturing the company's generative AI technology in various domains such as Information Retrieval, Intelligence Analysis, Space Surveillance and Tracking, and Space Situational Awareness. Marco began their career as a Doctoral Researcher at Cranfield University, conducting research in Visual Based Autonomous Systems for Space Exploration. Marco Zaccaria investigated computer vision methods to develop autonomous optical navigation for resource-constrained probes. Marco's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the GNCLab of the University of Naples Federico II, focusing on Data Fusion and Lidar-based Pose Estimation for Space Systems.

Marco Zaccaria Di Fraia has a comprehensive education history. Marco Zaccaria obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Visual Based Autonomous Systems for Space Exploration, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, from Cranfield University between 2017 and 2021.

Marco also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Their academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Marco has acquired various certifications. Most recently, they completed the Attention Mechanism course offered by Google Cloud Skills Boost in June 2023.
