Test Automation Engineer at Aiforia

Mikko Lipasti has a diverse work experience in the field of test automation and software verification. Mikko is currently working at Aiforia Technologies as a Test Automation Engineer. Prior to that, they were employed at Symbio as a Test Automation Engineer, where they worked on customer projects and handled both manual and automated testing. Before Symbio, Mikko worked at Sogeti Finland Oy as a Senior Consultant and Consultant, where they were involved in various test automation and software verification tasks at customer sites. Mikko also performed test execution environment maintenance. Prior to Sogeti, they worked as a QA Engineer at JPP-Soft Oy. Mikko's earlier experience includes working as a Testing Consultant at Knowit, where they focused on system and acceptance testing of insurance systems and banking systems. Mikko was responsible for test planning, testing, automation testing development, and test data management. Additionally, Mikko has worked at Tieto/ Tietokarhu Oy as a System Specialist, where they performed test engineer and quality assurance consultant tasks. Mikko also had technical responsibilities, including database design and test tools development. Mikko began their career at Tellabs as a Trainee, where they gained experience in unit and integration testing of Network Management System software. Mikko also contributed to the installation and configuration of PDH devices in the test network.

Mikko Lipasti earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst from the Finnish Software Testing Board FiSTB in October 2013, the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing in April 2002, and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in March 2019.
