Kathryn McCarthy

Kathryn McCarthy has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Deputy Head of Management Liability for National Accounts at AIG since August 2016. McCarthy has held various roles at AIG, including Regional Underwriting Manager and Assistant Regional Underwriting Manager for Corporate Accounts in New York and Philadelphia. Prior to AIG, McCarthy worked at HCC Specialty from July 2012 to July 2016, where roles included Specialty Underwriting Manager for Kidnap & Ransom and Senior Specialty Underwriter. Earlier experience includes tutoring in the Arabic Department at the University of Notre Dame. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Arabic from the University of Notre Dame, along with additional educational experiences at Fundación José Ortega Y Gasset and the American University of Beirut.
