Latha Shankar

Latha Shankar is an accomplished Director in General Insurance IT at AIG, with a tenure beginning in March 2010 and previous roles including Associate Information Officer and Project Manager. Latha has extensive experience in managing IT program delivery, notably overseeing the NICE Work Force Optimization initiative and implementing a global PEGA-based claims handling system for North America Casualty. Prior experience at AIG includes achieving operational efficiencies in the Claims Data Warehouse and delivering the organization's first multilingual reporting solution using Cognos BI. Latha started the career as a Project Lead and Consultant, developing various reporting solutions and data marts utilizing technologies such as Crystal Reports and DB2. Additional experience includes consultancy roles at Southern California Edison and the Judiciary of Singapore. Latha holds an MS in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a BE in Electrical from PSG College of Technology.
