Marcelo Feres

Marcelo Feres is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Regional Compliance Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean at AIG since August 2013. Feres has held multiple compliance roles within AIG, including Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, and Compliance Officer with responsibilities across various countries in Latin America. Prior to AIG, Feres worked at Itaú Unibanco and Unibanco as a Compliance Officer, as well as at ABN AMRO - Banco Real, where responsibilities included setting up compliance risk assessment methodologies. Feres began a legal career at Demarest e Almeida Advogados, focusing on capital markets and corporate law. Feres holds a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Law from FGV and a Bachelor of Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
