Ahmet Erdem

Ahmet Erdem's work experience includes a variety of roles in the fields of data science and software engineering.

Ahmet is currently a Co-Founder at Epicurus, a role they began in February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Data Science Director at aigoritma, starting in the same month.

From September 2022 to January 2023, Ahmet worked as a Lead Data Scientist for Trendyol Group. Before that, they served as the Director of Data Science at Abacus.AI from June 2022 to August 2022.

Ahmet also has experience in senior positions at NVIDIA as a Senior Data Scientist from March 2020 to June 2022, and at ING as a Data Scientist from September 2016 to February 2020.

Ahmet began their career as a Software Engineer at SAP in September 2014 and worked there until September 2015. Additionally, Ahmet gained internship experience at Kasaba Bilgi Teknolojileri Tic. A.S. in July 2013 and at Ford Otosan in June 2012.

Ahmet Erdem completed a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven, starting in 2015 and finishing in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Boğaziçi University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Ahmet obtained a certification in Secure Coding in Python from LinkedIn in June 2021.
