Marina Mistral, formerly known as Marina Malkova, is an accomplished professional in the field of interpretation and renewable energy consulting. Currently serving as an accredited interpreter at the Government of Canada Translation Bureau and a pre-candidate with the International Association of Conference Interpreters since February 2023, Marina has extensive experience as a freelance interpreter and translator in English, French, and Russian. Marina's diverse background includes roles as a senior analyst in energy consulting, where innovative green financing tools and energy profiles were developed, as well as strategic consulting in renewable energy for Norwegian districts. With a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting from Glendon Campus of York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Marina also possesses experience in event production as a high rigger and stagehand.
