Rebecca Shorrock

Rebecca Shorrock is a seasoned conference interpreter with expertise in interpreting from French, German, and Spanish into English. Currently serving as a Conference Interpreter (ACI) for the European Union since April 2023, Shorrock has been a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) since February 2010. Shorrock has held key positions such as Managing Partner at Conference Interpreters International from January 2016 to January 2020 and served as an in-house conference interpreter and translator for Copa-Cogeca from April 2007 to January 2010, facilitating approximately 200 meetings per year. Educational qualifications include a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University and a MA in Interpreting and Translating from the University of Bath, complemented by completion of the Cambridge Conference Interpretation Course in 2020.
